Description
NNTS carried out a project in which a hydraulic/pneumatic system is designed to drive a mechanical component. The challenging conditions include high temperatures, high speeds (~100.000 rpm) and limited space.
A theoretical research was performed to determine the pressure losses for different solutions, followed by the design of a prototype for the theoretically most feasible solution. The prototype will be used in tests to deliver a technical proof of concept.
