NNTS was nominated by the jury of TOM's Business Blow-out on the shortlist for the category "Best Startup". During the TOM's Business Blow Out Event on November 17, 2017 in the Grolsch Veste Jurre NNTS pitched and NNTS ended as a finalist. Unfortunately we did not win, but the nomination was already a great honor. Congratulations to all winners and thank you Van Deinse Media for the excellent organization. See you next year!

NNTS starts project riothermia

Soon we will start with a project for the municipality of Rotterdam! The project concerns energy from wastewater (riothermia), we are going to structure, analyse and interpret data of such an installation. At the end we will give the municipality recommendations so they can start with follow-up projects. Towards a sustainable world!

Engineers and innovators were present to notice the newest developments in electronics and applications. On 9th of May, 2017, NNTS was present at the Health Valley Event in Nijmegen. The theme of the day was Patient driven technology and the event gave an update of recent technological developments in health care. Knowledge and ideas in the field of robotics, nanotechnology and beacon technology were presented here. NNTS wants to contribute on many interesting topics that where highlighted that day. For example; how do you use technique in health care and how do you comply with privacy rules at the same time?

Last year NNTS was involved in the development of a Compact Pressure Vacuum system, an innovative and sustainable replacement for sewage systems outside the country. In this project, ordered by Tauw and Innblue, NNTS has developed a prototype of a mechanical valve that will be placed in recent sumps.

For this project two prototypes were developed and a test set up is build to validate the prototypes. In this movie, NNTS explains what they did for the project and the clients. The involved municipality and the University of Twente also talk about their positive experiences with NNTS!

Would you like to know more about NNTS? On Thursday the 2nd NNTS will be present on the event ‘Bedrijvendagen’ of the University of Twente. At this event 150 companies will be present and students, alumni and PhD employers of the university can meet each other.

Recently, NNTS has started with problems in the medical industry because many opportunities can be found in this industry for which students can mean a lot. Jill Hanegraaf, account manager at NNTS, studies Technical Medicine at the University of Twente. Jill keeps in touch with companies that are working in the medical sector en she has a clear view of what NNTS can mean for these companies.
