For the design of a new type of heat recovery, a project is carried out in which a theoretical model has been made to calculate the possible heat recovery from gravity sewers. This model will enable the client to make a quick and fairly accurate approximation of the design possibilities. The model is made through theoretical research, can be used for feasibility studies and is a great tool when making a detailed design.

The model also includes an extensive heat pump analysis tool in which the relation between the heat exchanger in wastewater and the heat pump is stipulated. This way the calculations for converting the temperatures from waste heat to usable heat are performed instantly and time can be saved in the design process.
